Guide to Creating and Using Stickers on Samsung Devices
Method 1: Using the Gallery App
- Open an Image: Launch the Gallery app and select any image to which you want to add a sticker.
- Edit the Image: Tap the Pencil (Edit) icon at the bottom, then select the Gallery icon and choose Stickers.
- Create or Add a Sticker:
- Create a New Sticker: Tap the + icon, choose an image, and follow the prompts to clip, style, and save it as a sticker.
- Add to Another Image: Repeat the first two steps to access the sticker gallery and tap on your desired sticker to add it.
- Edit or Delete a Sticker: Return to the sticker gallery, long-press the sticker for editing options, and modify its style. Note: You cannot change the area of the sticker.
Important Notes:
- With OneUI 6, the manual selection option for stickers has been removed.
- Use the clipboard by long-pressing a sticker image, selecting Copy, and pasting it onto a background image.
- Utilize the lasso tool to select a specific area to create a sticker.
Method 2: From Samsung Keyboard
- Access the Keyboard: Open the Samsung Keyboard within any app.
- Select Stickers: Click on the Emoji icon, followed by the Gallery icon to view stickers. Select or long-press a sticker to Edit or Delete.
- Create a New Sticker: Press the + icon to make a new sticker from an image.
- Finalize the Sticker: Highlight the selection, press Next, choose a sticker style, and tap Done to save.
Bonus Method: Long Press to Create Sticker
To make a sticker from a photo:
- Open the desired picture in the Gallery.
- Long-press on the subject and select Save as a sticker (available on OneUI 5.1 and above).
Alternative Options:
- Use the three-dot menu to Save as image to keep it in the Gallery.
- Edit selection using the Edit icon to adjust or convert the area of interest.
