How to Set Up Zoom on Your Apple TV 4K

The Zoom app is available for download from the App Store on Apple TV 4K. Here’s how to ensure smooth setup:

  • Compatible with Apple TV 4K (2nd generation) and later.
  • Ensure Continuity Camera is enabled on your iPhone or iPad.
  • Connect both Apple TV and iPhone/iPad to the same Wi-Fi network.

Once the prerequisites are met, follow these steps to set up the Zoom app:

  1. Download the Zoom App – Open the App Store on Apple TV 4K and download the Zoom app.
  2. Sign In – Open the app and either sign in via your web browser or provide your email.
  3. Pair Your Account – On a mobile device or computer, visit this page to pair.
  4. Enter CAPTCHA – Log in, and input the CAPTCHA displayed on your Apple TV.
  5. Confirm Login – Click Continue to complete the process.
  6. Select Your Account – Choose your account name from the list displayed on Apple TV.
  7. Accept Continuity Phone Request – Tap the notification on your iPhone/iPad and accept the request.
  8. Allow Camera Access – Enable access for the Zoom app to use your phone’s camera.

Start Zoom Calls on Apple TV 4K

Once set up, you can initiate Zoom calls effortlessly:

  1. Start New Meeting – In the Zoom app, select New Meeting.
  2. Grant Microphone Access when prompted.
  3. Invite Participants – Go to More > Invite and enter your participant’s details.
  4. Select options to toggle camera or microphone settings as needed.
  5. If more than 2 participants are involved, adjust the Meeting View accordingly.

  1. Access Settings – Click on Settings in the top-right corner of the app.
  2. Microphone Settings – Select Microphone and enable features like Echo Cancellation and Noise Suppression.

Set Current Presence Status

  1. Select Profile Icon – In the Zoom app, tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.
  2. Choose Status – Pick from available presence statuses, including Out Of Office.

Set Meeting Password

  1. Start a New Meeting in the app.
  2. Navigate to More Options > Security.
  3. Lock Meeting – Select this option and set your meeting password.
