1. Disable Conference Room Display

The Conference Room Display mode allows anyone with an Apple device to easily share their screen. If enabled, this could cause your Apple TV to remain stuck on the AirPlay screen.

  1. Open Settings on your Apple TV home screen.
  2. Scroll down and select AirPlay and HomeKit.
  3. Select Conference Room Display.
  4. Turn off the Conference Room Display option.

2. Use Screen Mirroring from Your iPhone

If disabling the setting proves difficult, you can use Screen Mirroring via your iPhone to regain control.
